Relaxation

This is one way I love to relax after a long day--by putting together a page. Life has been busy around here now that spring has decided to make it's appearance. YW camp cert. has been on my brain lately also. Got to get my creative juices flowing.

What a doll!

If Mark's mom were around today, that is what she would say about her great-granddaughters. Grandma K. is holding Katana; and Tianna is my "poster girl" for a poster I'm making for R.S. Becki took a bunch of pictures of the "cousins" the last time we got together. Check out her sites to view more pictures.

Spring Break

This is how we spent part of our Spring Break. Had a few days in LV. Nope, didn't go gambling. My $$ is too precious. We got to stay at a very nice resort for a couple of days (you know, the ones where you listen to their 2 hr. presentation.) It was a nice little get away. At least we got to see sunshine for a few days instead of clouds, rain, and snow showers.
On Easter weekend we had a family get-together at Jason's. Naturally, we had an Easter egg hunt. The whole fam came. It's always great to get together.

Dan, Adam & Aaron have all decided Cohen needs to "toughen up." He has become their scapegoat for their little pranks. Maisey is just fine with passing that responsibility to him.
With spring comes soccer season. I thought Jordan did great despite not even going to practice! Now if we could only get the weather to cooperate and quit being so soggy!
I usually have company when I'm on my computer. There seems to be some competition between the 2 pups as to who can get more of my attention. Cohen loves to be cuddled under something. He burrows under a pillow and sits next to me, while Maisey wants her back scratched. Cuddling is not her thing.

My Week in Review

Wow, the March has come and gone. Our mountains are full of fresh snow, thanks to a week full of snow storms. Our family tries to gather together monthly for a birthday dinner. We managed to have one for March. The menu consisted of waffles, bacon, sausage, fruit & cake. It was great to have everyone here.

A few rooms in our house got rearranged. I gotta say, we have WAY too much stuff at our house. We could get rid of 1/2 of it and still have too many belongings. What makes us want to hold onto that stuff anyway, because it is just stuff? I want to take pictures and/or scan the items, then get rid of them. That is going to take some serious dedication, I know. But a lot of our paraphernalia needs to go. Maybe I could get on that show, "Clean House."

About Me

I'm a mom to 4 handsome sons and 1 beautiful daughter. I'm married to one of the most patient men on the planet and love him for it. My dog thinks she is the princess of the palace. Oh, and I have 1 grandpuppy.
