Getting To the Root of the Problem

Sometimes I like to torture myself. After going to the dentist and being reminded that I needed to get one of my root canals redone, I called to make the appointment. They had an opening Thursday afternoon. Oh what fun it was. I especially liked having my mouth numb for the next 6 hours. Today, I could tell that tooth was worked on--no fun. But at least it's done.

Here's one of my latest and greatest PSE creations. I thought it was kind of cool.

Housecleaning

I should have been cleaning my house but instead this is what I got done. Digiscrapping is way more fun than cleaning toilets.

Happy 27th Anniversary January 16

Sniff, Sniff

What use was it having a great mini vacation to the beach when you come home only to get sick? Two days after I stepped off the plane, wham, I got hit with a sore throat. Mark followed suit getting sick the next day with the same thing. Both of us spent the next couple of days seeing who could use up the most Kleenexes in one day and we both sounded like we were a pack-a-day smokers! No fun at all. I'm glad to report that we are feeling much better. I'm even feeling good enough to do more digiscrapping.

I'm finding my brain is filled with more ideas than I have time to work on. Not to mention the fact that Jordan has a science project due next week. You who are moms know what that means--yep, that I'm doing a science project, with some help from Jordan.

Here's the high tide and low tide.

O Yes! O-side!

We went to Oceanside, California, for our 27th anniversary. It's unbelievable that we had such perfect weather!
Highs were 70 to 80 degrees, blue sky, sunshine, you get the picture.
We went to our favorite complex, NCV, and spent every day at the beach. You just can't get any better than this.

The sunsets were just as gorgeous as the early mornings.
Mark & I both decided it wouldn't be hard to get used to this.
In San Diego Old Town we came across some great shops and outdoor restaurants. We thought the boys would miss us, since they had to fend for themselves and take care of Jordan, but they did fine. Maisey seemed to miss us the most!

Trial & Error

Here's a page I put together just by messing around with PSE. I have a few others but they're not quite up to my standards for publishing. Drop by after the weekend. I know I'll have more to post by then.

About Me

I'm a mom to 4 handsome sons and 1 beautiful daughter. I'm married to one of the most patient men on the planet and love him for it. My dog thinks she is the princess of the palace. Oh, and I have 1 grandpuppy.
